The FairWay Golf Tour's Red River Cup pays CASH bonuses at the end of the year for players who accrue the most points. These points are given for membership, early registration, participation and performance. Last year, the tour paid just over $10,000 in BONUS CASH to the top 10 points winners. This year, double cash will be going into the pool to give us a projected payout goal of $25,000. This cash will be awarded to the TOP 20 points winners at the conclusion of the 2012 season. Players will be able to watch the cash pool get deeper as the year goes on and see where they stand in the race each week with online tracking!

So how do I WIN RED RIVER CUP?

Pay your membership and receive 50 points
(must participate in an event to get membership points).
Register by Monday prior to event and receive 15 points.
Register by Tuesday or Wednesday prior to event and receive 10 points.
Register after Wednesday prior to the event and receive 5 points.
Players who pay their deposit or full entry THRU THE WEBSITE by Wednesday at midnight prior to event will receive an additional 5 points.
Points also awarded to top 5 finishers at each event:
[1st 50 points] [2nd 40 points] [3rd 30 points] [4th 20 points] [5th 10 points]
All mini-majors, 27-hole events and 36-hole events are worth DOUBLE POINTS
The 54-hole event in Las Vegas and the 54-hole Tour Championship is worth TRIPLE POINTS

This concept is a win-win for everyone because it encourages players to give their commitment and participate to receive points and helps tour director get more accurate player count for course booking and pairing sheet.

POLICY UPDATE: If a player is registered for an event and does not show up for his tee time or notify Tour Director of his WITHDRAWAL by 5PM the day before the event when the tee times become 'OFFICIAL', the player must pay the course fees for that event before a future entry on the FairWay Tour will be accepted.
