May wins $2170 at Frisco Lakes with 74.1 as net score of 80 cashes

It was May day at Frisco Lakes Saturday as Ryan May was the second player in 3 weeks to win the net and both sides of the nassau in a FairWay Tour event. The players were probably dreaming of the first day in May as the temperature was 33 degrees and the wind chill factor was 18 degrees when the field started teeing off at 11am. Ryan, a 1.9 handicap for this event, fired a gross score of 76 in a survival test under arguably the worst weather conditions in the 10-year history of the tour. An astounding 44 players showed up to get battered by the north winds and freezing temperatures. A NET score of 80 was good enough to finish in the money! Come join us at Kickingbird GC in Edmond, OK Sunday, February 19th or the following weekend for Major #1 to be held at THorntree CC in DeSoto, TX because "If you don't tee it up you can't win!"
