Burton fires a 3-day total of 216.8 (+0.8) to win Vegas event by 4 strokes under record low temperaures

Wesley Burton fired gross scores of 71-74-76 at The Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort to win Super Major #3 by four strokes under unheard of temperatures with highs in the 80's. The 1 handicap from Tulsa showed consistency over three days and won the event by 4 strokes despite shooting over his handicap. His winning score of 216.8 on the par 216 layout earned him well over $7000 from the 24 player field and also moves him up the points list and into contention for the $5000 bonus check at the end of the year. We will be playing 36-Hole Major #4 this weekend, July 21-22, at Sugartree GC in Lipan, TX just west of Ft. Worth. We hope to see you there becuause "If You Don't Tee It Up You Can't Win!!"
