TPC Las Colinas will be Sold Out as 113 players tee it up in the region; FairWay Tour Thursday is back in Dallas next month!

The FairWay Golf Tour had three events over the weekend in Dallas, West Texas and Oklahoma City. Congratulations to our three winners: Dustin Stephenson, Rene Cruz and Corey Gilbert. Dustin Stephenson, a 4 year tour veteran, took some time off for the birth of his child and came back on fire, picking up his first FairWay Tour win at Tangle Ridge GC on Saturday. His net score of 64.8 was the third lowest in tour history as the field tore up Tangle Ridge, which was left defenseless with slowish greens and no wind. Ditto for Corey Gilbert, sporting his 6 month old girl at the course and firing a net score of +0.5 in the wind at Lincoln West in OKC was good enough for the win. The tour's second event in West Texas was a success as 28 players teed it up at remote Gaines County Golf Club in Seminole...does anybody know where that is?? Derek Watson does and the West Texas tour director is doing a splendid job with the very difficult task of running a tournament with this format correctly. Hats off to Derek and Rene Cruz, the second winner in West Texas this year. The tour has made a few minor changes to the pay matrix for 2013. These changes are for the better as we have added more money to the field. Super Major #2 at Waterchase will be closed to anyone with less than 5 FairWay Tour rounds in the last 9 months so be sure to get qualified for this event, which likely will pay $10,000 to the winner! Speaking of getting the request of many tour vets the tour will be back in Dallas on every other Thursday starting in March to give more players an opportunity to get their rounds in!! Our 2013 goal is to pay our members $1,000,000+! Sign up NOW and pay your DEPOSIT for your chance at $5K in one day next wekend at TPC Las Colinas, home of the PGA Tour's Byron Nelson Classic. We hope to see you there because "If You Don't Tee It Up You Can't Win!"
