Franke wins Pecan Hollow @ -0.7; Dye Course (TH-Dallas) and Player Course (SAT-Houston) Next Week Prior to US Senior Open Qualifiers

Congratulations to Kurt Franke, who got his first win in 2019 at Pecan Hollow GC last Thursday, firing a 4 over par 75 with 4.7 strokes for a net score of -0.7. If you haven't played this Plano Municipal Course, you are missing the boat as it is one of the best maintained layouts in the metroplex! The FGT has now gone 36 straight events where a net score above par cashes a check! As tour director, there is no better validation of our scoring system than the cold hard facts! And don't look for that streak to be broken this week! The Old American GC awaits a maxed out field of 40 players this afternoon along with Forest Ridge GC Saturday in Broken Arrow, OK. Old American is the site of the LPGA Tour event later this year in Dallas and may be the most challenging course on our schedule. But it is definitely rivaled by Forest Ridge, Stonebridge Dye and The Woodlands CC Gary Player Course, the next three events on our schedule following Old American! Looking ahead to June, we are excited to announce Sky Creek Ranch as the venue for Super Major #4 June 8-9. This course was played earlier this year and is currently in awesome condition. And finally, the FairWay Tour will host the Inaugural "2 Man Super Ball" June 29-30 at Chickasaw Pointe GC. This "Tour Favorite" is carved out of the bluffs surrounding Lake Texoma and is currently in the best shape ever. The format is a 2 Man Best Ball using the Super Major Pay Matrix. First place team will get $15,000 with 40 teams! Submit your team to the Tour Director TODAY! We hope to see you at our high quality events because..."If you don't tee it up you can't WIN!"
